Service Description
Dr Kumari, is an EMDR therapist/clinical psychologist with almost 20 years of practice, including teaching and supervision. Her previous teaching to psychology students, clinical psychology students, and medical students has included assessment, diagnosis, formulation, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Dr Kumari has also been actively involved with the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists, serving on the Board and as the Editor of the journal, demonstrating her commitment to the field. Dr Kumari's areas of interest include: trauma, rumination, somatisation, attachment, and dissociation.
